Printer Policies

• Individual reservations can only be made for up to two hours in a single session. Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance from the date of the reservation request. Students enrolled in BFA classes can book time up to three weeks in advance.

  Open Lab Access students are entitled to up to six hours of reserved print time per week; students enrolled in classes are entitled to four hours per week.

  These policies refer only to how much time an individual can reserve; additional time can be used if a Riso is free due to a cancellation or early completion of a print project and does not affect these weekly total limits.

• Students are asked to indicate the nature of their projects, especially the color drums they will be using during their printing sessions. This will be added to reservation information so that other students can make scheduling requests based on the availability of specific color drums.

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Last minute cancellations or no shows will result in the loss of booking privileges for one week.

• The RisoLAB does not charge additional fees for usage of any of our ink colors except metallic gold. We charge a flat rate of $15 per printing session for this color, which can be paid through our PayPal account:

  
  
  
  

• The RisoLAB no longer provides unlimited proofing paper outside of class time. During Open Lab Access hours, printers can purchase 50 sheets of proofing paper for $5, which can be paid through our PayPal account:
